Why???
What is it with folks and these new coffee/tea tumblers? You know the ones:

I don't have anything against the cups themselves. I guess they keep the coffee or tea warmer, and the lid probably helps you from spilling too much.
But why on earth do folks have to hold these things at head level when walking down the hallway at the office?
Remember coffee mugs?

No one held these at neck level when walking around. They held them down at wais level and out from their body.
Have we, as a society gotten so ignorant that we will hold a large container of scalding hot liquid close to our faces as we walk around? Folks, if you spill it, and you're holding it up that high, and that close to your body, it's going to burn a good portion of your body. But if you hold it at waist level, AWAY from the body, it won't burn near as much.
It's things like this, not politics, that makes me fear for our future.

"Look at the size of MY dick!"
lol I had one to take with me to drink in the car, actually also not very smart if ya think about it :D
@QuantumStorm - I would but I don't want to LAUGH that hard today...
@QuantumStorm - you have a penis growing out of your head?
They want to show off that they got one too?
Lol, I've never seen anyone do that. That would look pretty stupid. This made me laugh though...
I always keep mine in my bag, unless I'm actually drinking it at a table.
It's xanga that makes me fear for our future. I'm considering shutting my place down.
@grim_truth - Well I CAN be a dickhead...
Coffee is consumed around head-high, not waist-high. The steadiness offered of holding a tumbler near body's center-of-gravity and with steady arm configuration isn't relevent when they're spill-proof.
@Celestial_Teapot - They ain't spill proof when someone opens a door, and it hits the tumbler. lol saw that today, which is what prompted this post
@grim_truth - Ah.
Dumby proof it.
